How To Use Our Printable Ring Measurement Chart
Once you have downloaded our printable ring measurement chart, simply follow the steps below to ensure that you get an accurate ring measurement:
Print the ring measurement chart on an A4 piece of paper. Ensure that you do not have “fit to page” or “printable area” selected.
Begin placing and aligning the ring over the circles.
The circle that allows you to faintly see the dotted line on the inside of the ring is your perfect match.
Remember to make a note of the correct size. After all, you might not get another chance to measure that ring!
Bring your ring measurement chart with you to your ring appointment. You can use the chart to double-check that your new ring is the correct size.

How To Measure Ring Size: Helpful Tips
It’s definitely worth bearing in mind that without a professional ring size fitting, no measurement is 100% accurate. In fact, it is very common for the ring size to be ever so slightly wrong when it comes to presenting it to your significant other. As such, here are a few handy tips to help alleviate some of the pressures and stress when it comes to measuring your partner’s ring size:
It is always better to get a slightly larger size with the majority of ring types just to be safe. Adjusting the size down is a relatively easy and quick process, and you definitely want to be able to slide it onto their finger when the time comes.
“Measure twice, cut once” as the saying goes. Measure the ring a few times to be certain you’ve found the closest match. You might find yourself in a tight spot to measure the ring size but some things can’t be rushed.
Our dominant hands tend to be slightly larger than the other so pay particular attention to which hand the ring you intend to measure is usually worn on.
The average ring size for a woman in the UK is L. The average ring size for a man is R.
